Crystal’s Zen and Juice
Crystal Brown is a full-time artist and chose holistic healer to heal from PTSD as a veteran. Her cafe opened in Spring of 2023 and will be a place where customers can come in and purchase vegan entree’s, fresh cold-pressed juices and smoothies. Her vision is to create a community for vegans and vegan curious to explore their love for plant based food. In addition, the desires for patrons to heal, chill and be from their every day hustle. Crystal also hosts small events for artist in the space.
When the opportunity came to be apart of the 1st Cohort of the Soul, she was excited to bootstrap this idea to life. She gained knowledge and community she where she feels supported and understood working with SOUL and theCO. The Math Success Coach
Danielle Barbee, the owner of The Math Success Coach, is a true math expert who’s been tutoring students since 2008. Over the years, she’s witnessed countless success stories, helping students transform confusion into clarity as they grasp concepts they once struggled to understand.
Her experience with in the Collective has given her the confidence to pursue her passion even further, fueling the joy she finds in those lightbulb moments when students finally "get it." Whether it's building a strong foundation in math or overcoming challenges with a difficult class or teacher, Danielle is committed to being a coach who empowers students to succeed as independent learners in every math class. This commitment inspired the name "The Math Success Coach"—reflecting her desire to equip students with the skills they need for lifelong success, from mastering foundational concepts to becoming resourceful, self-sufficient learners.
Danielle has turned her business ambitions into reality, with her office now uniquely housed in a train at the Historic Jaxon Station. After all, what kid wouldn’t love learning math on a train? This unique setting has been the perfect place for Danielle and her tutoring staff to focus on closing achievement gaps and providing targeted interventions for her students.
